After the alleged eviction of the star ambassador of the Telethon 20-30 of Panama 2017, Joseliz Alhia Morales Bernal, was made public through social networks and the media, the National Mortgage Bank (BHN) clarified that neither she nor his family were thrown out of the house.
The banking entity explained that the house assigned to the symbol girl 2017, located in Ciudad Esperanza, Vacamonte, district of Arraiján, was never occupied by her relatives, which is why at no time has she been evicted from the property.
They detailed that the Morales Bernal family never occupied the house because there was no bus route in the area and because they could not install an air conditioner in this apartment that their daughter required.
“When verifying the status of the houses, we realized that it remained uninhabited, so we proceeded to carry out all the necessary steps to assign another option, where the girl could enjoy a better quality of life,” said Gean Marc Córdoba, General Manager of BHN.
He indicated that the BHN has held conversations with his relatives to assign them a new home; but with the arrival of the pandemic the process was delayed.
He added that the Panama 20-30 Club has been in communication with the girl’s family and with the institution with the commitment to continue supporting.
The BHN revealed that they have already located a house in Ciudad Vacamonte, district of Arraiján, intended for this family member, which will have the facilities for the comfort of the Morales girl, as part of the tasks carried out by the banking entity in a committed manner. with the use and administration of housing projects of social interest at the national level.
