The mayor of the Libertador municipality of Caracas, A/J Carmen Meléndez, reported this Wednesday on the preparations that are scheduled to proceed with the collection of solid waste in the Venezuelan capital, on the occasion of the Christmas festivities.
Meléndez detailed in a video broadcast on his Twitter account @perfect managementwhich this year is expected to collect approximately 2,500 tons of garbage in the city of Caracas.
He also stressed that “with the help of the workers of the Mayor’s Office of Caracas, accompanying the Urban Processing System, Collection and Cleaning of Caracas (Supra) and the solutions brigades, the vehicles, compactors and carts used by the urban maintenance crews have been recovered.
We prepare for the increase in solid waste in the capital city this Christmas season.
