“Finally after four years and having said that he wanted to face justice, although he escaped to Brazil and wanted to suspend the trial four times, he will have to answer to a judge,” Fardin told Télam.
Facing the audience this Thursday, the actress added: “I want to trust Justice, even though the entire process has been violent and re-victimizing.”
This Darthés is expected to testify after several delaying attempts by the actor’s defense, which included a proposal for the case to go to ordinary justice and the entire trial to start from scratch.
This resolution was appealed by Fardin and repudiated by women’s organizations throughout the region.

In August of this year, the Federal Court of Justice of Brazil decided not to grant this request and continue in federal justice with the ongoing oral debate.
The hearings resumed on September 29 with the testimony of two defense witnesses, after the request by Darthés’ lawyer to suspend the resumption of the oral debate.
Speaking to Télam, Euro lawyer Bento Maciel said that this Thursday Darthés “He has the hearing to testify. It will be virtually and he has the right not to do so, but I think he will, that he will testify.”

This Tuesday, Fardin received the support and was distinguished by Amnesty International in the Green Hearts Edition of the first edition of “Voices that transform”, in which the work of 28 journalists, women of culture, actresses, and influencers was recognized for their contribution in the fight for legal, safe and free abortion , in a context of speeches that incite violence, especially on social networks.
The trial began on November 30, 2021 and the witnesses of both parties testified virtually before Judge Ali Mazloum, who interrupted the oral debate last February due to a statement made by the defendant’s defense.
The actress filed a complaint for aggravated sexual abuse against Darthés in December 2018 in Nicaragua, allegedly completed in 2009 during a tour of the Argentine novel “Ugly Duckling”, when both were part of the cast and she was 16 years old.
