Pedro Román, president of Petropar, visited the legislators this week and argued that the need is greattaking into account that Petropar is a State supplier, which includes essential services such as the patrol cars of the National Police and the ambulances of the Ministry of Health.
He added that the objective is to acquire fuels for sale, in order to cover the supply of its network of service stations, direct customers and comply with the company’s business expansion plans.
“If this is not resolved this week, we will run out of fuel since the fortnight of November, for three months,” Parody warned. He clarified that the request does not imply extracting resources from the State, but simply obtaining authorization to use the money that Petropar already has in the box.
