The National Executive, together with the People’s Power, will carry out new political plans for territorial reorganization through the 1×10 System for Good Government, as reported by the sectoral Vice President of Planning, Ricardo Menéndez.
During a telephone contact with the team of The newstransmitted by Venezuelan Television (VTV), the sectoral Vice President of Planning pointed out that, in the new stage towards the transition from socialism, the National Executive through social cartography will configure the new relationship between the State and the territory.
In this sense, Menéndez indicated that the People’s Power has a fundamental task that is based on the registration of areas of high vulnerability to landslides, floods or other threats. In addition, they must organize themselves and locate the possible shelters to which they will go in the event of any situation.
The also Minister of Planning highlighted the effective response capacity that the Venezuelan State has, based on the political model where the human being is prioritized, to quickly attend to the different contingencies that arise in the nation, under political actions such as the 1× System 10 for Good Government.

He pointed out that what happened in Las Tejerías and El Castaño, in the state of Aragua, as in other regions of the country, is a consequence of the capitalist model and the profound aggression against the environment that have triggered a global climate crisis.

“Regardless of who is responsible for the problems we are experiencing, the Bolivarian Revolution will come forward and generate macro solutions to respond to the requirements that arise in the country,” Menéndez emphasized.
Likewise, he highlighted that the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, has constantly insisted on the development of eco-socialism and the principle of the right to the city, which lead to a new logic of territorial reorganization to occupy the space in a safe. And, for this reason, these actions will be carried out for urban reorganization, through the map of solutions promoted by the national president.
During the meeting he held with the government team, this Tuesday, the head of state informed the country that they will make changes in urban planning in Las Tejerías and other towns in the country that are located in risk areas.
