Venezuelans who entered Panama through the Darién will be able to return to their country through the Tocumen Airport

The National Immigration Service confirmed that all Venezuelans who have entered Panama irregularly, through the Darién jungle, will be able to return to their country through the Tocumen International Airport.

According to Migration, Venezuelans will only have to present their laminated identity card, fill out an exit form to Venezuela and pay for their plane ticket.

This information was also corroborated by the Chargé d’Affaires of the embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Panama, Jhannett María Madriz Sotillo, who, through a letter, informed the Minister of People’s Power for Foreign Relations of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Carlos Faria.

In the note dated October 18, he explains that as of that date, Venezuelans who want to return to Venezuela will be able to do so following the aforementioned guidelines.
