Maduro sets as a goal to ensure that 23 thousand liters of water arrive in Caracas per second

During a speech offered on the afternoon of October 19, President Nicolás Maduro announced the appointment of the Division General César Febres Cabello as “Single Authority” to address the situation in El Castaño, a sector of Aragua state that suffered river floods due to heavy rainfall in recent days

During a working day to present the balance of the 1×10 System of Good Governance and of the Bricomiles held on October 19 at the La Guairita water treatment plant, in the state of Miranda, the president called for redoubling efforts to offer all of Venezuela a higher quality of drinking water service.

We went from 4,000 to 4,500 liters per second and with the resources that you approved we will advance in two years. We have 170 water treatment plants throughout the country,” said Minister Marco Torres.

Maduro immediately stressed that all of them must be enabled. He also called for progress on the main issues that affect citizens: education, telecommunications and electricity. He urged governors and mayors, ministers and other officials of the Executive train to assume the system as a central element of management “and you will see the miracles.”
