The National Meteorological Service (SMN) issued this Wednesday yellow alerts for rains for Misiones, Formosa, Santa Fe, Tucumán, San Luis, Santiago del Estero, Córdoba; by strong winds for Chubut and San Juan; while for La Rioja and Catamarca wind and rain are forecast.
According to the agency, in misions Rains were forecast for the towns of Eldorado, Iguazú, the lower zone of General Manuel Belgrano, north of Guaraní, San Pedro and the lower zone of Montecarlo.
“Total rainfall will range between 15 and 40 millimeters in general, and may exceed 50 millimeters, especially in the north of Misiones”specified the agency.
Likewise, the SMN provides for Formosa storms for the area of Laishí, Pilagás, Pilcomayo and Pirané.
The localities of Santa Fe de Caseros and General López, will be affected by rain and stormssome of which may be locally strong.
“They will be accompanied by bursts, occasional hail fall, electrical activity and abundant rainfall in short periods”it was informed.

For the province of Cordoba, yellow alert applies for rains and storms, they will be accompanied by gusts, occasional hail, electrical activity and abundant water fall in short periods; for the areas of the lower zone of Colón, lower zone of Totoral, General San Martín, Marcos Juárez, Unión, Juárez Celman and lower zone of Río Cuarto.
While, in La Rioja the mountain area of General Lamadrid and Vinchina It will be affected by winds from the west sector with speeds between 50 and 70 kilometers per hour.and gusts that can exceed 100 km/h.

The province of Catamarca It will have winds from the west sector with speeds between 50 and 70 kilometers per hour, and gusts that can exceed 100 km/h, in the Antofagasta de la Sierra and Tinogasta mountain range area.
For the areas of Ambato, Ancasti, Capayán, El Alto, Fray Mamerto Esquiú, La Paz, Paclín, Santa Rosa, Valle Viejo and the Pomán mountain area, it will be affected by rains and some isolated storms that could present strong intensity.
Finally, the SMN predicted that Santiago del Estero will be affected by rains and storms, with rainfall ranging between 15 and 40 milliliters for the departments of Atamisqui, Banda, Choya, Loreto, Ojo de Agua, Robles, San Martín, Silípica Aguirre, Avellaneda, Belgrano, General Taboada, Juan F. Ibarra, Mitre, Quebrachos, Rivadavia, Salavina and Sarmiento.
