Representatives of the National Assembly (AN) held a meeting on Tuesday with magistrates of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), to review the agenda of legislative reforms that must be applied by the Judiciary.
This meeting was held at the headquarters of the Federal Legislative Palace, in Caracas; and it was headed by the president of the Permanent Commission of Internal Policy of the AN, Pedro Carreño.
Specifically – details a Press release – Five laws were discussed at the meeting: the laws of the Justice System, the Judicial Career, the Code of Ethics for Judges, the Law of the General Inspectorate of Courts and the Law of the School of the Judiciary.
These texts, detailed the parliamentarians, will seek to strengthen the national justice system.
In this sense, the work dynamics that will consolidate these reforms were defined, which are aimed at strengthening the national judicial system.
Subsequently, they agreed that several liaisons will be carried out between the Judicial Power and the Legislative Power, for the transformation of the judicial system in the country.
