A man of Colombian nationality expelled 63 finger cots of cocaine at a clinic located in Calabozo, Guárico, according to military sources.
The Colombian is identified as Erney Aidarraga Idarraga, who was arrested along with Juan Carlos Corona Blanco. Both came in a public transport unit from Guasdualito (Apure) bound for El Tigre and which was checked by the Bolivarian National Guard at the Citizen Service Point located in Corozopando (Guárico).
After being captured in that checkpoint as suspects, they were transferred to the “Pérez Guillén” Clinical Center in Calabozo, Guárico, where they underwent a chest X-ray examination.
“Foreign bodies (fingers) could be observed in the hypogastrium and the iliac fossa, starting the expulsion process for a quantity of sixty-three (63) finger cots of cocaine, weighing one hundred and eighty kilograms (1,180)” says the report to which we had access.
The detainees were handed over to the Public Ministry where they opened a file for illicit drug trafficking.
