On the afternoon of this Tuesday, October 18, the bill Bill 989, Creates the Board of the Arraiján District International Fair, was approved in second debate, whose objective is to project in the international arena, as has been done in other provinces of the country.
With this, the district of Arraiján is closer to the possibility of having its own International Fair.
The project was presented by the deputy of the 13-1 circuit Kayra Harding Bart, and is discussed before the Education, Culture and Sports Commission.
During the support of this initiative, the parliamentary vice president explained that this international fair would increase the economy of the district, in terms of investment, since
Arraiján has more than 150 companies and product factories, in addition to the Howard Special Economic Area, which offers opportunities for investors due to its customs, immigration, labor and tax benefits, as well as technology and logistics.
If it becomes a Law of the Republic, the Board of Trustees of the Arraiján International Fair would be created, as an entity with legal personality, its own assets and autonomy in its administrative regime subject to the policy of the Executive body, through the Ministry of Agricultural Development.
