Carabineros detained this Monday 10 people who entered the National Institute by force. This, prior to the third anniversary of the social outbreak, which will take place tomorrow, Tuesday.
According to the police commander Cesar Martinezcommissioner of the 1st Police Station of Santiago, the subjects entered the premises “via escalation” and forced a padlock, slogan 24 hours. In the establishment, the group installed padlocks and chains to prevent the entry of police officers.

Police Public Order Control (COP) personnel managed to enter the premises and arrested the 10 people. Of them, one is an adult and nine are minors. Among the latter, seven correspond to students from the National Institute and two from Liceo 7 de Providencia.
Carabineros transferred the detainees to the 3rd and 48th Police Stations to be placed at the disposal of the Public Ministry.
Let’s remember that the students of the National Institute meet with virtual classes from this Monday to Friday, regarding the new anniversary of 18-O. The measure was instructed by the Municipal Education Directorate (DEM) of Santiago.
