Apple is expected to announce two new iPad Pro tablets with M2 chip «in a matter of daysAccording to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman in his latest newsletter, which has become one of the industry’s best thermometers of Apple launches.
According to the journalist, the 11″ and 12.9″ devices will be a minor update and could have new charging capabilities. And what stands out the most is that the two models can be chosen with either the M2, M2 Pro or M2 Max chip. This would make them take a giant leap in terms of power.
Expectations are for the iPad Pro to arrive before October 27, which is the date Apple will announce its quarterly and annual earnings. As for the price we have no idea.
However, there is no planned launch event: the tablets will be announced with a press release on the company’s website. Or that is what is assured from the United States, it seems surprising, but not the first time they do it.
The new iPad Pro could bring MagSafe charging capabilities, and Gurman even suggested we could see reverse wireless charging, allowing the tablet to share its battery with an iPhone or AirPods case. We will also see the release of iPadOS 16.
