The coronavirus continues to affect the Mexican league and after the start of the new tournament of the Closing 2022 the teams have defined new sanitary measures regarding the virus. This is the case of the teams that are in the State of Jalisco, which has presented more than 7,906 coronavirus infections in the first 10 days of the year.
The Government of Jalisco met to determine and announce the new measures that must be followed to stop the virus as soon as possible. The increase in infections in this state is enormous.
Regarding the new measures, it should be noted that a decrease was introduced in the capacity of the stadiums for the matches of the different clubs in the state: Atlas, Chivas Y Charros from Jalisco. This measure will be launched on January 14 and the capacity will go from 90% to 60%.
In addition, they will ask for a vaccination certificate and negative PCR tests valid for no more than 48 hours to be able to enter the stadium and watch the games. These tests will be the responsibility of each fan, so it will not be covered by the state. PCRs can be carried out in private entities. Likewise, the use of masks is still mandatory and in the event that an event or match is identified, the lack of use in the stands will be canceled and the stadium doors may be closed.
The first team that will have to carry out these measures will be the Atlas which will debut on January 15 against the Athletic of San Luis, after the game of the first day was postponed. However, Chivas de Guadalajara play outside and Black lions They have the party on January 16, so it will also take advantage of the new measures imposed by the Government.
These measures not only affect men’s football, but also the Liga MX Women and the Expansion League they are also obliged to comply with the new sanitary measures. Mexican soccer is having many positive cases, since on the first day there were complications and several games had to be rescheduled.
