Former presidential undersecretary Beder-Camacho was captured by agents of the special team of the National Policein August of this year, when he entered the embassy of Venezuela and Mexico to presumably coordinate political asylum for fugitives Bruno Pacheco, Gian Marco Castillo and Friar Vasquez.
According to the report accessed by Peru21, on August 18 it was observed -at 8:10 am- to arrive at camacho to the residence of the ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Alexander Yáñez Deleuze, in San Isidro. Pedro Castillo’s close friend spent 30 minutes in the diplomatic facilities. The next day, the officers captured the former undersecretary at the Mexican embassy.
“Later, at 08:40 am, the aforementioned vehicle can be seen leaving, moving along Paseo de la República avenue, then through San Martín square, avenue. Tacna, in the direction of the Government Palace”, reads the document.
A new collaborator of the Public Ministry would have stated that the conversations of camacho they had positive results and the president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, agreed to help the Peruvian ruler who is suffocated by allegations of corruption.
“These meetings would have been carried out by order of President Pedro Castillo with the desire that the fugitives be granted asylum in any of the embassies, be it that of Venezuela or Mexico,” the document states.
