This past weekend, the on-site tour was carried out with those interested in learning about the facilities and the way of working planned at Central Hortícola del Norte (CHN). The Director of Promotion and Development of the Municipality of Salto, Soledad Marazzano, and the technical team of that dependency, accompanied the visit and made returns to the queries raised.
“We have received operators and producers from Salto and the region, answering questions and taking notes on several questions,” said Marazzano, who recalled the main items of the tender, which will open on November 18.
In this sense, it should be remembered that 50 positions were put out to tender, with a base price of 118,705 UI (equivalent to approximately 15 thousand dollars), with a renewable usufruct term of 30 years. The offers will qualify according to price and criteria according to the characteristics of the undertaking to be developed, and a list of offers will be generated that will then have priority to choose the spaces.
There will be a monthly cost for common expenses of approximately 10 to 15 thousand pesos, which include lighting, security, cleaning of common areas, pest control, risk insurance, administration, among others. The stalls have a dimension of 40 square meters and associated with them, an extra space of 30 square meters for the construction of merchandise and/or packaging deposits. You can bid for up to four positions. The plant has a space of 1000 square meters so that the operator who wishes can install his cold chamber, either for personal or collective use. The Power Plant is expected to start operating in the months of February-March 2023.
