This Sunday there was a serious accident on the Monserrate pedestrian path. According to the fire department, a 10-year-old boy and an older adult fell down a ravine.
This was reported through their Twitter account: “Our firefighters from the Centro Histórico station, the Search and Rescue of Animals in Emergencies Group, the Technical Rescue Team and the Remotely Manned Aircraft System Group rescue and provide pre-hospital care to a minor and an adult who were injured when they fell down a path in Monserrate”, Firefighters reported on their Twitter account.

As confirmed by the authorities, the incident occurred when The minor decided to go past the large crowd that was passing through this tourist site in the capital and slipped.
In this same line, the firefighters assured that they carried out the corresponding maneuvers to save the lives of the two people.
“Maneuvers of securing, stabilization and rescue for subsequent delivery to the Ministry of Health”, they added in another tweet.
