Teachers and officials from the University of the Republic called for a march from the Ministry of Labor to the Executive Tower

The University Intergremial of the University of the Republic (Udelar) announced a new 24-hour strike for this Wednesday 19 October, in the context of the conflict for more budget and salary recovery for the educational institution and its officials.
The groups that decided to call a strike They are the Association of Teachers of the University of the Republic (ADUR) and the Federal Association of Officials of the Udelar (Affur). From the Union of Workers of the Hospital de Clínicas (UTHC) a union exit was called and the Federation of University Students of Uruguay (FEUU) will resolve, in a Federal Council to be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday 17, whether or not to adhere to the measureindicated its spokesman, Andrés Fernández, to The Observer.
Likewise, from the interunion it was also urged to gather at 10:30 at the headquarters of the Ministry of Labor (MTSS) and then march to the Executive Tower.
