Santo Domingo.- The internal process to measure the most popular presidential candidates in el Dominican Liberation Party (PLD) It was unfolding without problems this Sunday morning, although the flow of voters was timid in the early hours in some election centers.
The process began at 8:00 in the morning and will end at 5:00 in the afternoon, according to the president of District II, Héctor Mojica.
The politician reported that the flow has been increasing, as the hours go by, and that it is expected that a vote of 20,000 voters will be registered in that constituency.
“In this demarcation we have about 300,000 citizens registered in the party, but we only expect about 20,000 to vote,” said the leader of the opposition party, during an interview with El Nacional, at the Antonio Duvergé Intermediate Committee, located in the Villa sector. Juana, in the capital.

Among the candidates for the presidential election for the PLD are Margarita Cedeño and the current mayor for Santiago de los Caballeros (north), Abel Martínez.
