SANTO DOMINGO.- Deputy attorneys questioned two employees of the Chamber of Accounts, who were brought as witnesses against the president of the supervisory body, Janel Ramírez, accused of sexual and labor harassment to the detriment of two lawyers of the institution.
Attorneys Isis de la Cruz and Fernando Quezada interrogated Carlos Hernández and Loyda Jiménez for more than two hours.
The magistrates were seized of the case, after the filing of the complaint against the president of the Chamber, while in the afternoon it is planned that two more people (Fernelys Ortiz and Roberto Reyes) will be questioned, who were also provided as witnesses against the official.
The interviews will be conducted between today and tomorrow.
The lawyers Bella Massiel García Paulino and Virginia Ofelia Correa Jiménez will sue the president of the Chamber of Accounts, Janel Ramirez workplace bullying of course. They ask the attorney to order the certification of the technological evidence provided in the case.
The victims in the civil constitution complaint against the official ask the investigating body for the authentication of WhatsApp conversations, audios, incoming and outgoing calls, as well as any other means of evidence that is useful to clarify the case.
The complaint is supported by documentary evidence and eleven testimonials.
