The Single Trial Court for Crimes of Violence Against Women of La Guaira sentenced Enrique José Ramírez Díaz to serve 30 years in prison for committing abuses against his two stepchildren, according to file WP01-S-2019-000576.
Ramírez Díaz was arrested in Tanaguarena (La Guaira) at the beginning of this year after being denounced. Because of this, the 8th Prosecutor of the Public Ministry charged sexual abuse to a girl (8 years old) and a boy (5 years old) with penetration, in a continuous degree.
The trial against Ramírez Díaz began on May 12 of this year and ended last Tuesday at the Palace of Justice in La Guaira.
In another procedure, the Cicpc captured Víctor Johnpierr Medina Aldas (31), accused of “drugging, sexually abusing and prostituting young people between 15 and 17 years old,” according to the scientific police report.
The officials found the subject by interviewing victims and monitoring their social networks. The agents detected that Medina Aldas recruited young people by offering them jobs paid in dollars. But later she told the young women that it was sex work. And if they refused, the subject drugged them to deliver them to men who had previously paid for intimate dates, according to what was narrated by the Cicpc.
Medina Aldas was detained at the scientific police headquarters located on Urdaneta Avenue, Caracas. There they seized three cell phones that, when emptied, detected the existence of 10 victims.
The detainee was handed over to the 100th Prosecutor of the Public Ministry of Caracas.
A similar modus operandi was used by Alexis José Toledo Vivas (53) and Francisco Casas Miranda (51), who were captured in the Garrochal sector, San Antonio del Táchira.
These people were part of a network that recruited young people through social networks to offer them work as merchants. But when they went to the site, they were sexually exploited in Colombia, reported the Cicpc.
A woman named Wirianyi was in charge of capturing the girls; while Marcos Acosta carried out the financing to cover the trip of the victims.
In the midst of the arrest of Toledo and Casas, Cicpc agents rescued two girls in Peracal (Táchira) who were ready to be sent to Colombia under this prostitution scheme.
