The Administrative Minister of the Presidency José Ignacio Paliza responded this Friday to former President Leonel Fernández, which is just an excuse, the one who claimed that when he was president there was no need to build the wall on the border, because at that time the situation in Haiti had not deteriorated as it does now.
José Ignacio Paliza, admitted this Friday that the construction of the wall on the border is going a little slow, however, he maintained that in two years of management, the Government is working to finish it, contrary to what other government efforts could not do.

The also president of the Modern Revolutionary Party (PRM) assured that Haiti has always gone through crises of this nature.
“It is true that perhaps we have been a little slow in the construction of the wall, however, in two years of management we are building it, and in 20 years they have not put up a single block,” said Paliza.
The minister of the presidency took the opportunity to refer to the statements of the president of the People’s Force, in the delivery of aid to the Dominican Association of Christian Churches for those affected by Hurricane Fiona. José Ignacio Paliza assured at the ceremony that the government will attend to all those who suffered losses from the hurricane.
Minister Paliza expressed that due to the effects of Hurricane Fiona, nearly 150 evangelical churches, so far of different natures and characteristics, were fundamentally affected in the East of the country.
“In this virtue, on behalf of the Dominican government we wanted to bring a first contribution in construction materials and resources so that you can directly impact those churches, which in their humility have been able to build them with the collective effort of people, and that has a lot of value”, added Paliza
On your side, Lorenzo Mota King, Executive Director of the SSID He thanked the Dominican government for making common cause with the regions impacted by the atmospheric phenomenon.
“I want to recognize the work of President Luis Abinader in favor of all sectors of Dominican society, in addition, we thank Minister José Ignacio Paliza who listened to us and is immediately giving us an answer on behalf of the government,” he added.
The religious leader reported that among the provinces with the greatest damage are La Romana, San Pedro de Macorís, El Seibo, Hayo Mayor and La Altagracia.
