The Venezuelan diplomat kidnapped in Miami, Alex Saab, expressed his solidarity with the population of Las Tejerías in the face of the catastrophe that occurred on October 8, by writing a letter in support of the communities of the region in the state of Aragua.
The manuscript was disseminated by the Free Alex Saab Movement where the Venezuelan diplomat refers: “Dear people of Venezuela, I wish to express my deepest solidarity for the tragedy that occurred in Las Tejerías. Both the Government and society united in a single effort to bring them help and hope.”

Regarding the diplomat’s demonstration of solidarity, members of the movement traveled to Las Tejerías in support of this community, bringing them donations such as non-perishable food and other items.
It should be noted that Alex Saab was intercepted, by the Government of the United States (USA), in Cape Verde, on June 12, 2022, while traveling to Iran to make humanitarian shipments, in times of pandemic, and when complying with a technical stop, to refuel, was illegally detained.
