Plasencia and Benedetti reviewed bilateral relations agenda

They analyzed, among other topics, binational trade, air connectivity and judicial cooperation

Air connectivity, binational trade and judicial cooperation, among other issues of binational interest, were addressed on Thursday by vice ministers and ambassadors from Venezuela and Colombia.

This was reported by the Colombian ambassador to Venezuela, Armando Benedetti, through his account on the social network Twitter, in which he published “We continue to work on the reopening of our borders. With the vice ministers of Colombia and Venezuela @franccoy Y @RanderPenaand with my counterpart @plasenciafelixr We are talking about: air connectivity, binational trade and judicial cooperation, among other issues. We move forward!”

According to official information from the Ministry of Foreign AffairsDuring the bilateral meeting, the work methodology was also defined to advance in the normalization of diplomatic relations between the two neighboring countries.

Likewise, the Vice Minister for Latin America and the Caribbean of the Foreign Ministry, Rander Peña, said that the meeting served to review the cooperation scheme between the two countries.

“We held an important meeting with the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Colombia @franccoy and the Ambassadors @AABenedetti Y @plasenciafelixr, with whom we review all issues of binational interest. We continue to work to strengthen the cooperation scheme between our countries!” she wrote on his twitter account.

On September 26, Venezuela and Colombia officially reopened their border. Since then, both countries have agreed to move progressively and relentlessly towards the full revitalization of bilateral relations and the strengthening of the ties that unite the two countries in the different spheres of political, economic and cultural life.
