The First Specialized Constitutional Court of Lima ruled that it does not have jurisdiction to analyze the amparo appeal filed by the President of the Republic, peter castle.
Through a resolution released this Thursday, he indicated that the norm orders that a constitutional chamber be the one to analyze the case after the recent modification of the law.
As recalled, the lawyer Ananias Narro Culque filed the amparo action against the Congress of the republicbearing the signature of the president himself.
In the document, Castillo also requested that declare the nullity of the third vacancy motion promoted by congressmen from different benches.
In the same way, he requested that the complaint promoted in the Subcommittee on Constitutional Accusations filed by a group of citizens for the alleged crime of treason.
It should be noted that said accusation was presented after the head of state gave an interview to the journalist Fernando del Rincón of CNN en Español where he spoke of a Probable outlet to the sea for Bolivia through Peruvian territory.
Finally, the defense of Castillo Terrones requested that “The Congress of the Republic is ordered to refrain from exercising political control in an arbitrary, disproportionate and unconstitutional manner” against him.
The request was presented one day after the National Prosecutor, Patricia Benavidezfiled a constitutional complaint in Congress against the president for the alleged crimes of criminal organization, influence peddling and collusion.
