The Ministry of Citizenship once again extended the deadline for reviewing data on families registered in the Cadastro Único (CadÚnico). The beneficiary will have another 30 days to update the information with the municipalities.
The processes have been ongoing since February and encompass 8 million families. Beneficiaries of the Auxílio Brasil Program that are undergoing Cadastral Review would have until this Friday (14th) to update.
The Cadastral Review consists of asking the family to update the Cadastro Único records, if it has been for more than 2 years without any changes.
Families registered in the Cadastro Único must update the data every 2 years or whenever there is any change. Anyone summoned for data verification and review must attend a Social Assistance Reference Center (Cras) or a service center in the Municipality’s Cadastro Único.
The cadastral update is essential to ensure the quality of the data and ensure that the information recorded in the Cadastro Único is always in accordance with the reality of the families.
Social programs such as Auxílio Brasil, Benefício de Prestação Continuada (BPC), Tariff Social de Energia Elétrica (TSEE) and ID Jovem require that the registration is up to date so that families can receive the benefits.
Due to the impacts of the covid-19 pandemic, the Ministry of Citizenship has scheduled the registration review process. This year, only families with registries that were last updated in 2016 or 2017 were invited to update data in the Cadastro Único. Beneficiaries who last updated data in 2018 or 2019 will be convened in the coming years.
Query
Beneficiaries can check if their data is out of date or even if the information already provided is being compared with other federal administrative databases through the CadÚnico application, available for download on the Gov.br page. If there has been no change in the information provided in the last interview, the beneficiary family can also confirm the data through the Cadastro Único application. However, if any data needs to be changed, it is necessary to attend a registration post for a new registration update interview.
Consultation can also be carried out at web version. The identification data of the Responsible for the Family Unit, the data of the family and its members will be displayed.
In the Simple Consultation, the user does not need to login Gov.br, but must inform identification data such as full name, date of birth, mother’s name and State/municipality where he/she is registered, as they are registered in the Cadastro Único, to that the record is found in the federal government database. When accessing without login, citizens will be able to access the simplified consultation of their registration, the issuance and validation of Proof of Registration and the search for service stations of the Cadastro Único.
