He has not yet assumed functions, but the elected mayor of Arequipa, Victor Hugo Rivera was involved last night in the assault on an inspector Provincial Municipalityafter the worker called him a rapist.
In a video shot by another inspector shows that Victor Hugo Rivera reacts along with his companions, after the inspector called him a rapistin relation to an old complaint of sexual abuse that the also former FIFA referee had, although this was filed.

According to the inspector, he was attacked by the future mayor’s team and showed the minor injuries to hands and ear.
However the altercation started when the inspectors asked Víctor Hugo Rivera’s team to remove the vehicle that obstructed the way in the municipal deposit located on Av. Independencia. In response, men from Rivera’s team reportedly insulted with qualifiers as thieves, criminals.
Mail tried to contact Víctor Hugo Rivera to know his versionón and about the accusation of assault, but did not respond to the phone call, or messages.
