The Permanent Commission for Comprehensive Social Development received this Tuesday a set of proposals and recommendations from representatives of trade union centers and public and private employer organizations to be included in the Draft Law for Homeworkers.
In this regard, the first vice president of the commission, deputy Luz Chacón, indicated that the different recommendations have been evaluated, as well as the suggestions of the Ministry of Popular Power for the Social Labor Process, with which the legal regulations will be enriched, according to refers to a press release from Parliament.
The bill is part of a compendium of 10 special laws drawn up by the ANespecially this permanent commission by instruction of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, and the presidency of the parliament, betting that through dialogue in Venezuela productive growth and protection of workers will be achieved.
For her part, the deputy Gisela Tovar stressed that they have carried out a broad consultation in several states of the country, Carabobo, Cojedes, Yaracuy, Miranda and Caracas, with different sectors, which will allow the systematization of key elements so that the text is a reference, not only in Venezuela, but in Latin America.
The next meeting will be with the Human Rights sector, women and the Afro-descendant population, to prepare the final report that will be submitted to the Full Chamber for approval.
This Law is framed in the conventions of the International Labor Organization (ILO) and in the spirit of the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela (CRBV).
