This Thursday, the Budget Commission of the Chamber of Deputies will resume the debate of the Budget 2023with the aim of making an opinion on the project before the end of this month.
The deputies will analyze the details of The initiativeAfter the round of exhibitions by the Government closed last Tuesday, where the Minister of Transport, Alexis Guerrera, explained what will be done with the Budget 2023 in your wallet.
In this way, the ruling party hopes that the Budget 2023 be voted on Wednesday, October 19, that is, next week; nevertheless the opposition proposes that the opinion be delivered on October 26.
During the presentations made by different heads of various areas of the Government, nine ministers spoke, including Sergio Massa (Economy), Jaime Perzcyk (Education) and Daniel Filmus (Science, Technology and Innovation).
The round of presentations lasted for two weeks and also included the participation of the heads of different ministries and state agencies. Now the Budget Committee, chaired by Carlos Heller, must analyze the proposal.
For this, a session was called at 11:00 this Thursday morning, with the aim of reaching agreements on the proposal and giving it a half sanction before October 26, the deadline established by the president of the Chamber of Deputies, Cecilia Moreau.
To approve the project presented by the Government, the ruling party needs to reach 129 votes, of the 257 deputies that the lower house has in total. Of these, 118 are from the Front of All, so at least 14 more votes in favor are needed for the proposal to be approved.
What are the projections in the 2023 Budget
The project that the legislators will take up during this day, proposes a growth of the economy of 2%, an annual inflation of 60%, in addition to a reduction in the fiscal deficit from 2.5% to 1.9%.
Likewise, a total expenditure of almost $29 billion is estimated, with a collection of approximately $22.5 billion and a primary deficit of $6.3 billion.
