The deployment continues to provide comprehensive health care to the population of Las Tejerías, affected by the landslide that occurred in that Aragonese population.
More than 43 doctors, 35 nurses and 07 students along with the Military Community Health Brigades (Bricomiles) were deployed this Tuesday in Las Tejerías, serving the population of the area with medical supplies delivered by the Health Supplies Corporation (Corposalud). ), refers a note of the Ministry of Health.
This Wednesday also continues the distribution of medical supplies necessary informed the Ministry through its Instagram account.
They detailed that the supplies include: developer and fixative equipment, antivenom serum, vaccines, medical-surgical material and, in general, everything that the population needs in terms of health.
Regarding the vaccines, they reported that thousands of doses of: toxoid, yellow fever, and anti-influenza have been applied, as well as polio, measles, pentavalent, and anti-rabies vaccines.
On the other hand, the Ministry of Health indicated that among the health centers that are attending the contingency are: the Andrés Rodríguez Popular Clinic, the Cipriano Castro Comprehensive Diagnostic Center, the Victorino Santaella Hospital and the Central Hospital of Maracay.
These centers are available to receive all those affected from the communities Castor Nieves, Béisbol, El Matadero, Barrio Bolívar, Zona Industrial, La Hoyada, Palmares, Brisas de Bucaray sector 2, Las Rosas, Cañada el Mamón, Guaicaipuro, Valles de Tejerías and Cañada Ruiz Pineda.
Comprehensive health care
Since the contingency was presented, the Minister of Health, Magaly Gutiérrez led the team that was deployed at the site of the landslide.
Together with the single health authority of the Aragua state, Dr. Chirley Hernández, they made a health route to later design a comprehensive care plan for the affected population.
Since then, more than 120 doctors and 50 nurses have been deployed through brigades, attending to those affected and offering health services, including house-to-house visits and vaccinations.
