SANTO DOMINGO.- A student takes four of his classmates hostage after injuring another at the Aura Violeta Forestieri school, located in the San Luis Municipal District.
The perpetrator showed up at the school campus with a knife in his backpack, according to several sources.
Tactical units from the National Police and an ambulance from the 9-1-1 Emergency System, as well as the relatives of the students, were present at the scene.
They assure that the injured young man was transferred to the nearest health center.
