President Alberto Fernández participated this Tuesday in the celebrations for the 100 years of the Neuquén municipality of Centenario, where he maintained that he proposed “make federalism a real fact, a real fact, not a preaching in speeches”.
Fernández attended the event together with Governor of Neuquen, Omar Gutierrezand to local mayor, Javier Bertoldiand was accompanied by Minister of Public Works, Gabriel Katopodis; the General Secretary of the Presidency, Julio Vitobelloand the presidential spokesperson, Gabriela Cerruti.
In that locality, of strong growth due to the development of unconventional exploitation, the president affirmed that “Neuquén is going to be the heart from which a new development structure for Argentina is born.”
Fernandez considered that the gas that the province has allows “all of Patagonia and the rest of the country” to develop.

For its part, Gutiérrez highlighted the President’s visit to Neuquén to lead two activities, which he considered “a gesture that extols and clearly marks the footprint of the road on which future and future is built” together between “the national government, the provincial government and the municipal government, with the trust in our people.”
To its turn, Bertoldi He thanked the president and the Minister of Public Works for “taking a look at Centenario, which is helping us a lot.”
The community chief pointed out that “more than 2,300,000,000 pesos have been invested in public works” in that municipality that “has a great future” due to oil and gas.
The commemorative act consisted of a civic-military parade, a protocol act and the placement of floral offerings in honor of the local centenary.
