The Judiciary ordered the Executive to reinstate Daniel Soria Lujan as Attorney General of the State (PGE) by declaring founded the lawsuit filed for his removal from office on February 1.
Judge Jonathan Valencia, of the Second Constitutional Court of the Superior Court of Justice of Lima, concluded that Soria Luján not only held the position of Attorney General of the State, but also that of President of the Board of Directors, whose mandate is five years.

Daniel Soria requested in his lawsuit before the PJ that the resolution of the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights, then headed by the current premier Aníbal Torres, be declared “illegal” and “unconstitutional”.
