The former president of the country and leader of the MAS, Evo Morales affirmed this Sunday that President Luis Arce will be the one who will decide whether or not there will be changes in his cabinet.

“I asked all social sectors: it is not about imposing or charging charges. I expressed my concern. If some social sector is imposing… Some think that a ministry is owned by that sector. No. It is Lucho Arce’s constitutional attribution to choose his cabinet. I expressed some weaknesses. Unfortunately, some ministers, vice ministers do not respond to the President, but to the social sector, when it comes to cuoteo, and there is no management there (…) But, finally, Lucho makes decisions, because he is the President ”, said the ex-president in his program Sunday “Evo is people.”

Morales was interviewed this Sunday on the program Evo es pueblo, leader of the humble, which broadcasts Radio Kawsachun Coca.

The Unity Pact, the MAS, the COB and the President met on Saturday at the Casa Grande del Pueblo. According to Morales, in that meeting, “nothing was touched” on possible changes in the cabinet. However, there were some criteria.

“If it requires our participation, in suggestions, nothing more,” Morales said in reference to Arce. “Lucho will know (if) there will be a new cabinet (or) there will be no new cabinet. That is the constitutional responsibility of brother Lucho, president.”

He added that to occupy a position in the cabinet, in some cases, “colleagues” with “experience” and, above all, with “social conscience” are wanted. In addition, they must be “militants” of the MAS.
