The Minister of Government, Eduardo Del Castillo, denied this Tuesday having any relationship with the former adviser of the Movement Towards Socialism (MAS), Wálter Chávez, now considered close to the governor of Santa Cruz, Fernando Camacho.

The authority explained that the photo circulating on social networks is from 2018, when he attended a birthday and coincided with the former collaborator of Evo Morales. Likewise, he asked to focus on management and not on political fights.

“The photo that circulates is from December 2018, when I was at a third person’s birthday, and they put him at the table where I was. I have no relationship with this man (Wálter Chávez),” said the authority.

Regarding the decision of the ruling party to demand his dismissal from the Cabinet of President Luis Arce, the head left the decision in the hands of the president and stressed that the Executive is focused on working for the benefit of the population.

“This is an exclusive attribution of the president-elect with the much higher vote in the history of Bolivia (…). We must focus on management, the people no longer want to be in the middle of fights between politicianswants better living conditions to be generated, and that is what we are focused on,” he added.

Together with the Minister of Justice, Iván Lima, his name is questioned by the MAS leadership for allegedly not being a member of the “political instrument”. Questions are also maintained for having said that there are leaders and deputies who get rich with coca.

“Instead of dedicating ourselves to the functions called for by the Constitution, the current legal regulations, instead of doing those tasks, we are looking at authority haircuts that are currently in operation. We need to work together, in order to build a much more dignified homeland,” Del Castillo added.
