Treasury will transfer G. 20 billion to the TSJE to repair the TREP

The Ministry of Finance will transfer up to G. 20 billion to the Superior Court of Electoral Justice (TSJE) for the repair of the transmission system of preliminary electoral results (TREP). This transfer for claims is established in the budget law.

The TSJE reached an agreement with the Treasury for this transfer. He was socialized with legislators on Monday morning. These resources will not form part of the Court’s PGN 2023.

The 1,000 pieces of equipment that were part of the TREP were destroyed during the last fire that hit the TSJE. Then they are forced to acquire the equipment again in order to provide the service to provide transparency for the next elections. These are notebooks, scanners and cell phones.
