The president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, lamented this Monday the natural events that affected the population of Las Tejerías in the state of Aragua.
Through a statement, he expressed the pain that the families of Las Tejerías feel, «before the landslide caused by the rains that caused the overflow of 5 streams, leaving a significant number of victims and material losses. Our solidarity and support!” she said.
Likewise, he reported that the headquarters of the Venezuelan Parliament It will serve as a Collection Center for the collection of food and equipment for those affected.

Last Saturday night, October 8, there was a landslide caused by torrential rains that caused five streams to overflow in Las Tejerías, Santos Michelena Municipality, Aragua State, producing a significant number of victims and material losses.
Given these dramatic events, the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, declared three days of national mourning and ordered the maximum deployment of the Bolivarian Government with all its security and
risks to attend to the presented emergency.
The National Assembly joins the pain that overwhelms the Venezuelan families affected by such unfortunate losses as a result of this natural catastrophe and conveys a message of solidarity, accompanying them in these days of mourning.
Finally, we want to inform you that from this date the National Assembly becomes a Collection Center for all donations aimed at providing support to those affected by this terrible tragedy.

Vargas, administrative seat of the National Assembly.
