Griezmann signs with Atlético until 2026

Antoine Griezmann, Atlético de Madrid striker, signed his new contract with the rojiblanco club on Monday until June 30, 2026.

As reported by the Madrid entity, this new link comes after the agreement reached with Barcelona for his transfer for US$21 million plus four in variables, according to the figures announced by the Catalans.

The French attacker, on loan from Barcelona to Atlético de Madrid since the summer of 2021, already belongs to the discipline of the rojiblanco team as property, since the signing of his new link for the remainder of this campaign and three more, with 304 games disputed officials and 144 goals, only two behind Francisco Campos, the third best scorer in the entity’s history, and 28 behind Luis Aragonés, the top scorer of all time.

“Atlético de Madrid and FC Barcelona have reached an agreement for the transfer of Antoine Griezmann, who since the summer of 2021 and to date had played for our club on loan from the Barça entity. In addition, the French striker has signed a contract that will link him to our entity until June 30, 2026,” announced Atlético, along with the photo of the moment of signing with Miguel Ángel Gil Marín, CEO of the entity.

Griezmann has won three titles with the rojiblanco club, all in his first stage in the entity: the 2014 Spanish Super Cup, recently transferred from Real Sociedad; the 2018 Europa League and the European Super Cup that same year.
