While next week, the INDEC (National Institute of Statistics and Censuses) will publish the official figure with the inflation September, analysts and consultants estimate that the number will remain as high as in August.
After a price index of 7% during the eighth month, the annual accumulated reached 56.4%, for which it is estimated that the inflation of 2022 close close to 100% or more.
According to the surveys of the main private consultants, in September the inflation will be between 6.3 and 7%, this because rises in food once again put pressure on the general index.
According to the Survey of Market Expectations of the Central Bank, in which 40 consultants and foundations participate, the accumulated interannual figure will reach 100.3% this year.
According to the consulting firm LCG, which surveys weekly the online prices of 8,000 products in the food and beverage category: “The food and beverage index presented a monthly average inflation of 7.2% in the last four weeks.”
For its part, in C&T Economic Advisors they estimate that inflation for September will have a floor of 6.3%, which would show a slight slowdown in relation to the last month.
While, Eco Go points out that, for the next few months, the price index will remain above 6%even until the first half of next year, when the Government estimates an annual cumulative rate of 60%.
Argentina has the second highest inflation in the region
After Venezuela, Argentina has the second inflation highest in Latin America, then, while in the first country the price index it was located in September at 11.5%, in the national territory it is estimated at 7%.
Third place with inflation highest in the region is occupied by Chile and Colombia (0.9%), followed by Uruguay (0.8%), Mexico (0.6%), Peru (0.5%), Ecuador (0.3 %) and Bolivia (0.1%). For their part, other countries such as Paraguay and Brazil had a inflation negative of -0.1% and -0.3%, respectively.
