The official balance of the day on Sunday, October 9, 2022 reveals that there are 563 active cases of covid-19 in the country, of which 461 are in home isolation
Vice President Delcy Rodríguez presented in her social networks the statistics corresponding to the behavior of covid-19 in Venezuela during the day of Sunday, October 9, 2022, in which 14 new infections were recorded in the country, all of community transmission.
According to the balance presented by Rodríguez, the new cases were detected in five of the 24 federal entities in the country, with the Capital District leading the list by reporting seven new patients with the disease that were found in two of its 22 parishes. : Antímano (5) and El Paraíso (2).
The Capital District was followed by Mérida (4), Yaracuy (1), Barinas (1) and Falcón (1).
The states Zulia, Táchira, Trujillo, Apure, Lara, Portuguesa, Cojedes, Carabobo, Aragua, Guárico, Amazonas, Miranda, Vargas, Bolívar, Anzoátegui, Monagas, Delta Amacuro, Sucre were left out of the list with new covid-19 infections. and New Sparta.

The official report published by Rodríguez for the day of October 9, 2022 slightly increased the total number of cases of the virus that Venezuela reports daily. In this sense, 938 days after the detection of the first infections on March 13, 2020, a total of 544,964 and 538,583 recovered patients are reported, which according to official data represents a 99% overcoming of the disease.
Currently there are 563 active cases of covid-19 in the country according to the statistics released by the authorities, of which 36 are treated in the public network of hospitals; 33 in the Comprehensive Diagnostic Centers (CDI), 33 in private clinics and 461 people who are in home isolation or “supervised community care”.
During the last 24 hours, Vice President Delcy Rodríguez did not report deaths from covid-19; which keeps the total number of deaths from this disease stable at 5,818.
