The Cuarto Poder program revealed the relationship between former minister Geiner Alvarado and businessman Henry Marrufo, an engineer and businessman who benefited from works that exceed two million soles.
The report indicates that the relationship between the two began in Chiclayo. Geiner Alvarado finished his civil engineering degree at the Pedro Ruiz Gallo National University between 2010 and 2012. Around these years, Henry Marrufo was also graduating as a civil engineer at the same university.
In addition, Alvarado López provided services for the District Municipality of Huambo and the engineer Henry Marrufo also obtained two contracts for the execution of works with the same municipality in a consortium.
When Alvarado took over as head of the Housing portfolio, Marrufo visited him in his office a few days after taking office.
The report details the role that the head of the Cabinet of Advisors and right-hand man of the minister, Salatiel Marrufo, would have played in the selection of works that would be prioritized by the Housing sector and that would finally be won by Henry Marrufo.

In four days, between November 19 and 23, 2021, Henry Marrufo with his two different companies, signed the two contracts for almost 2 million soles with the District Municipality of Cumba of Mayor Robert Ramos, an admirer friend of Minister Geiner Alvarado and his adviser Salatiel Marrufo.
The Sunday newspaper pointed out that he tried to communicate with Marrufo, but that he did not answer his calls to record his version of the revelation of the report.
