Santa Cruz, La Paz, Chuquisaca and Oruro, in that order, were the only departments that registered positive cases of Covi-19 this Sunday. In total there were 10 positives throughout the country, the lowest figure in these 31 months that the pandemic has been in Bolivia.
Santa Cruz with four cases, La Paz with three, Chuquisaca with two and Oruro with one case, were the only regions where they were positive of coronaviruses; the departments of Cochabamba, Tarija, Potosí, Beni and Pando did not register any cases.
A week ago, on October 2 the number of patients with Covid-19 had reached 31 and it was one of the lowest figures, however this Sunday the number of people affected by the virus fell even more.
With just 10 infected, the total number of people who suffered from Covid-19 reached 1,108,702 of that figure 1,057,096 managed to get through the pandemic in the five waves that he already has in Bolivia; while 22,237 patients failed to recover and died in these 31 months.
According to the report from the Ministry of Health, there are 29,369 people who are still fighting the disease, although with more advantages since there are already enough vaccines and medical resources for them to be treated in hospitals. According to the authorities, the chances of a death from coronavirus in these times are negligible, contrary to what happened two years ago when the virus wreaked havoc on the population.
Regarding the official report of cases of Monkeypox in Bolivia, it establishes that to date there are 77 active patients and 142 recovered. During this day, 2 infected people appeared and the accumulated total amounts to 219.
