In the context of the third anniversary of the massive demonstrations that began on October 18, 2019 and the first commemoration that the Government of President Gabriel Boric will have to face, from the Palacio de La Moneda they stated that the intention is to “recover and normalize” the spaces that were severely altered by the protests that occurred as a result of the social outbreak in 2019.
On Wednesday of this week, the president led, from the Franklin sector, the launch of a new version of the Commercial Neighborhood Strengthening Program, which will support the recovery of the urban environment in more than 40 commercial areas of the country, opening an option to those who were affected by the social outbreak.
In the activity he announced that “we want to recover the neighborhoods for the great majority of our inhabitants, who are honest, hard-working people. We are working hard on that.”
