The XII South American Games in Asunción proved to be a party that attracts thousands of people to experience the Olympic competitions. The main stages were sold out on most competition days, with greater demand for #TeamParaguay presentations.
The ASU2022 Games party mobilizes families from all over the country, as was the case of Sady Cáceres, who came with her family from Colonia Independencia, department of Guairá.
When it became known yesterday, Saturday, that the locations for the main venues were sold out, her request on social networks went viral and she finally obtained access for her and her family. Her trip of more than 170km to experience the Odesur Games did not go unnoticed and the Minister of Sports, Diego Galeano, assured them a place in case they did not obtain access.
It is not the first day that tickets are sold out in advance for the Odesur Games. The first days of swimming at the National Aquatic Center (CAN) sold out all access hours before the finals, and other venues with various venues, such as the Paraguayan Olympic Committee (COP), saw their capacity allowed long before the main events , as happened with the beach soccer final on Thursday 6 that crowned the Pynandi with gold.
The Odesur Games continue until this Saturday, October 15. This Sunday the finals of rugby seven (at the COP) and women’s basketball (at the National Sports Secretariat, SND) will be defined.
