They opened a free online course to learn everything about cryptocurrencies

Learning about cryptocurrencies, decentralized finance, NFTs, stable coins (stablecoins) and many other terms that grew in the heat of the development of blockchain technology can be made easier with the opening of a free course with more than 30 educational videos. by 17 experts from the fintech ecosystem and the crypto world.

The course was launched by the Argentine company Lemon -whose virtual wallet, LemonCash, has more than 1 million users– and it is open online, with modules that deal with everything from the history of money to the metaverse, passing through the fundamentals of Bitcoin and how Ethereum can change the future of the internet.

“For the first time, and for free, all the content necessary to take the first steps in crypto will be grouped in one place and explained by the best,” he said. Santiago DiPaolodirector of Crypto Education by Lemonwho added that the course has “references from the entire ecosystem, including other companies, so that they can contribute their knowledge.”

To access the course you must enter with an email and a password to https://curso.lemon.me/and it is not necessary to have previous knowledge, since the content is presented with a clear and accessible perspective for those who want to take their first steps in crypto.

Among other points, the program covers ten levels of different complexity that explain some of the most innovative and specific concepts of blockchain technology, such as What is Bitcoin? What is Blockchain and how does it work? What is a wallet and what are the different types?questions are answered in the first educational modules that are accompanied by questionnaires to validate knowledge and be able to continue growing and leveling up.

It then advances on more developed aspects such as what are stable cryptocurrencies (stablecoins), Smart Contracts, tokens, the evolution of Web 1.0 to 3.0, DeFi, DAOs, NFT and the Metaverse.

“At the level of adoption there’s still a long way to go and the creation of attractive educational content is one of the main contributions that Lemon makes to the region,” said Di Paolo.

In addition to having the participation of Marcelo Cavazzoli, CEO of Lemonsome of the participants who contribute their knowledge in a collaborative way are: Nico Bourbon, Juani Gallo (Cafecito), Marino Dipietra (MakerDAO), Patricio Molina (Exactly), Diego Gurpegui, Hodler Tom, Pablo Sabbatella (Defy Education), Andrea Vargas (AVAX), Lila Alves (Bitcoin NGO), Bel Rey and Celes Giardinelli (influencer and journalist), among many others.

Although it is not necessary to be a validated user of Lemon to take the course, since can be accessed from any countrythose who finish it with the same email registered in the Lemon app and already have their Lemmy NFT revealed, the avatar that opens the doors to Web3, will be able to acquire the NFT certificate.
