With enthusiasm, schoolchildren from the “Antonio Raimondi Dell’Acqua” Educational Institution in Ambato, Yauli district, Huancavelica province, presented their life projects during the school’s anniversary.
The illusion shown by the students for a better future is only part of the more than a thousand schoolchildren who managed to develop their life projects with the support of the NGO. Save The Children, in coordination with the teachers, administrative staff of the campus and the parents of Ambato.
STUDENTS DEVELOP LIFE PROJECTS
The director of the educational institution, Saúl Ayuque Tornero, stated that the support of the NGO was a guide for the students.
“Being the thirty-first anniversary of institutional life, it is a joy for us to see the students develop their life projects in order to achieve a better future for themselves and their families,” said the director.
Most of the students expressed that they aspire to follow a technical or professional career, others suggest being able to serve the country by going to the Army.
“This year ends and I hope that in 2023 I will enter the headquarters in Chorrillos – Lima. That is my life project”, said Henry Cusi (17).
“I’m in second grade and my life project is to be a teacher and teach children,” said Kelly Quispe (14).
“Due to the pandemic, in 2020 and 2021, these orientations were suspended, but this year, with the presence, it has been possible to guide schoolchildren from 8 schools in the Yauli district to develop their life projects. To this end, it coordinated with various institutions”, explained Marizabel Alagón, representative of the NGO.
