The Cuban health authorities reported four new infections of coronavirus At the close of this Friday, which, together with the six medical discharges of the day, left 22 active cases on the Island.
In addition, 50 patients suspected of suffering from COVID-19 remain hospitalized, with which 72 people were hospitalized due to this disease.
Of those confirmed, no patient is reported as critical or serious, and no deaths were recorded, according to the most recent party of the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP).

As for the new cases, these were detected after the analysis of 1,333 samples and the four diagnosed are male.
Of these, two were contacts of confirmed cases, one had its source of infection abroad and in the other the origin of the infection could not be specified.
There were no asymptomatic cases on the day and two of them are under 20 years of age. The other two are men between 40 and 59 years old (1) and over 60 years old (1).
Finally, the new infections were identified in Matanzas (1), Camagüey (1), Holguín (1), and Isla de la Juventud (1).
In this way, Cuba reached 1,111,233 patients diagnosed with the disease since the start of the pandemic, according to official statistics, while the deceased remain at 8,530 and those recovered, even with sequelae, are now 1,102,622.
