Clorinda Customs agents inspected the suitcases and bags of the passengers of a bus from the Godoy transport company that departed from the Asunción Terminal and the scanner noticed that there were four skulls in a suitcase.
The owner of the suitcase was a Venezuelan, but with an Argentine document, who said that she lives in Buenos Aires and that she cleans buildings.
The woman explained that the complete human skulls, with maxillae, were going to be taken to the Argentine capital and then sent to the United States, supposedly for scientific studies.
Nevertheless the suspect did not have any document for the transport of human remains and he never declared that he was carrying those skulls, what is more, he kept them hidden in his clothes at all times.

The interveners They detained the woman under the charge of violating Law No. 22415, of the Customs Codebut does not rule out that she be prosecuted for other crimes, which could appear with the course of the investigations.
