Coronavirus Santa Cruz: 36 new cases were registered today

The daily coronavirus report confirms for this Thursday, October 6, 36 new cases in four municipalities of the department, Santa Cruz de la Sierra concentrates 19, Porongo 15 and La Guardia and Puerto Quijarro 1 case, respectively. The positivity rate rises to 3%.

With these new numbers, there are a total of 163,571 people who have had the disease, so far in 2022, 189,319 recovered and 743 deceased in 2022.

In addition, 24 patients overcame the disease and are considered recovered. and no deaths were mourned.

However, the rooms of the health system continue to have boarding schools due to the virus. There are currently 12 people in the intermediate care and intensive care rooms, and 11 are attached to a respirator, fighting for their lives.

For the same reason, the departmental health authorities insist -despite this de-escalation of the pandemic for several weeks in the department-, continue using the chinstrap and comply with the other biosecurity measures to avoid further contagion and prevent another wave or outbreak of the virus.

In the same way, they reiterate completing the complete anticovid vaccination scheme at the authorized points in the capital and in the provinces of Santa Cruz. In fact, today 1,156 people were immunized.
