A total of 308 packages with alleged illicit substances were discovered hidden in a cove between mangroves in the province of Los Santos.
The National Police and the Naval Air Service, managed to carry out the seizure together with the Public Ministry, after two operations that are part of Operation Isthmus.
In the first, 160 packages were seized and in the second, some 148 packages inside sacks, hidden among the mangroves in the Tonosí sector, in a modality known as surface cove.
The illicit substances were transferred to the Mensabé Naval Air Base, for the pertinent count procedures, in coordination with the Los Santos Drug Prosecutor’s Office.
